The hotel is conveniently close to the city centre, and free, secure parking is available. A regular bus service runs from just outside the hotel to the city centre, which is just 10 minutes away. The hotel is close to the city centre, but enjoys a comparatively quiet setting away from the busy nightlife.

There is a charming lounge featuring interesting bric-a-brac and antiques, and a well-stocked bar.

With your own laptop you can access the free wireless internet in the lounge and several of the bedrooms. There is also a computer in reception for guests’ use in the daytime and early evenings. You can also access the internet using either the telephone point in your bedroom or the data port on your room telephone.

Directions

By Air
The hotel is approximately 12 km from Edinburgh Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. The journey from the airport to the hotel should take about 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the traffic.

By Train
The hotel is approximately 25 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Waverley railway station and the very heart of the city.

By Bus
The number 11 bus runs regularly from the centre of the city to the bus stop right outside the hotel. By bus, the journey from the city centre to the hotel should take about 10 minutes.
